Hello! I am Joyce King, Founder and CEO of Shift Happens Benefit Solutions.

 

For years, I watched employees and small business owners try to navigate medical bills, unexpected diagnoses, accidents, and financial stress with nothing but crossed fingers and hope. I saw teams who cared deeply about their people but didn’t know how to protect them without breaking the budget. And I saw families who were one “life shift” away from panic mode.

 

I knew there had to be a better way. So I built one.

 I wanted to create a benefits experience that didn’t feel cold, confusing, or corporate. I wanted it to feel human. Warm. Even a little fun. Because benefits shouldn’t be something people dread—they should feel like a safety net woven with care.

I bring humor, heart, and real‑world clarity to every conversation, because I believe benefits should make people feel seen—not stressed.
